Financial Economics Wine and Cheese Gathering

The Department would like to welcome all GSAS Economics PhD students in learning more about the field of Financial Economics. Recent events have made clear the centrality of the financial system and stimulated innovative research on financial issues. The economics of finance is essential to our understanding of fields such as economic welfare, macroeconomic dynamics, the theory of the firm and markets, and the implementation of monetary, fiscal and regulatory polices. The financial economics field is intended to help students begin the study of these topics. Professor Douglas Gale and Professor Sydney C. Ludvigson (Chair of Department) invite you to an informational wine and cheese about the field.
