EAS welcomes Japanese language teachers from colleges and high schools to Tadoku Workshop. Tadoku/多読 provides students an opportunity to read materials of their choice, at their own pace, without using a dictionary. Through this activity, students improve their reading skills and self-efficacy while learning to have more fun reading in Japanese. This is the second workshop on Tadoku at the Department of East Asian Studies at NYU. This year’s workshop will have presentations on implementing Tadoku, and practices and challenges will be discussed. This workshop is conducted in Japanese. Registration is free. Lunch will be provided.
*Due to the high number of interest, registration is now closed. However, if interested in participating in future workshops, please email Kayo Nonaka (firstname.lastname@example.org).
