Washington Square Review
Published biannually by the faculty and students of the NYU Graduate Creative Writing Program, Washington Square Review is an innovative, award-winning literary journal featuring fiction, poetry, translations, and interviews. Stories from recent issues have appeared in Best American Short Stories, Best American Nonrequired Reading, and PEN America Best Debut Short Stories.

West 10th
West 10th is a student-edited literary journal for NYU undergraduates sponsored by the Creative Writing Program. Recent issues have included interviews with Hala Alyan, Leslie Jamison, Alexandra Kleeman, Mira Jacob, and Min Jin Lee, and guest contributions by Kimiko Hahn, Ada Limón, Morgan Parker, Jenny Zhang, and Gerald Stern.
In each issue, one piece of prose and one poem is a awarded the West 10th Editors' Award. These selections are made by executive editors Matthew Rohrer and Darin Strauss; the writer of each receives a $200 prize. The 2021-2022 issue winners are: "Name for the Order" by Gentle Martinez for the West 10th Editors' Award in Poetry and "How to Cope with Sudden Disasters" by Samantha Stokes for the West 10th Editors' Award in Prose.
