This is a special opportunity to meet Professor Chuck Freilich of the MA in IR Program and learn about the courses he will be teaching in the spring: The National Security Strategies of the Countries of the Middle East and a Special Seminar on Strategic Planning. The seminar is a hands-on course designed to provide students with practical experience and increase their future "marketability". Limited to six select participants, this is an opportunity to learn about this unique seminar.
Professor Freilich will also give a guest lecture entitled "Trump and the Iran Nuclear Deal: Sustain or Scrap? The lecture will address Iran's nuclear policies, the sources of Iranian-US-Israeli enmity, the ramifications of Iran going nuclear, an assessment of the deal to date, and options for going forward.
Professor Freilich, a long-term lecturer in the IR program, is a former deputy national security advisor in Israel and a senior fellow at Harvard's Kennedy School.
