FINANCIAL ECONOMICS MIXER
IT is the time of year again when we recruit our great students to take the financial economics field. The economics of finance is essential for understanding fields such as economic welfare, macroeconomic dynamics, the theory of the firm and markets, and the implementation of monetary, fiscal and regulatory polices. The financial economics field is intended to help you begin the study of these topics.
WE invite you to an informal gathering where you can learn more about the field on Tuesday, September 5, from 5:00-6:00 PM in the C.V. Starr Center (Room 831 of 19 W 4th Street). Refreshments will be served.
THE event is intended for all who are interested in financial economics, especially second year students who are in the process of choosing fields. We would also welcome any alumni of the financial economics field who want to share their experiences with new students. Our objective is to get as many good students as possible interested in undertaking the coursework in this field of study, and ultimately research in this area.
