Can we unravel the fundamental organizational principles for supramolecular materials ranging from crystals to polymers, and use them in the design and synthesis of innovative materials through control of supramolecular architecture? Our nanoscience and materials faculty explore and engineer properties of new matter across dimensions, from crystals to colloidal assemblies to organic polymers. DNA Structural Nanotechnology is an exciting new field invented at NYU. Materials research benefits significantly from the Materials Research, Science and Engineering Center.
