PREREQUISITE: FINAL GRADE OF "C" OR HIGHER, IN CHEM-UA 225 OR 227, GENERAL CHEMISTRY II. STUDENTS MUST ALSO REGISTER FOR A LABORATORY SECTION. Emphasizes the theory and structures of covalent bonded materials and develops greater insight into reaction mechanisms, plus the challenges and creativity leading to scientific discovery. This course is designed for students intending to become chemistry and biochemistry majors.
