The Department of Anthropology Prize ($200) is given once a year in the spring for demonstrating excellence in academic achievement and outstanding promise in any of the four subdisciplines.
The Annette B. Weiner Award ($200) is given once a year in the spring for excellence in the field of Sociocultural Anthropology.
The Anthropology Department Alumni Undergraduate Travel Award ($250) The AUT Award funds support for anthropologically relevant work in any of the four subfields that requires domestic or international travel. This can include archival research, fieldwork, or unpaid work with NGOs or similar organizations that deal with environmental, social justice, disaster, or primate studies. Presented to an Anthropology major (first semester sophomore through first semester senior). Students must submit an application form. Please download and complete the application. Please answer all three questions, and email your completed form as an attachment to Prof. Bailey, Director of Undergraduate Studies (email@example.com). The Fall 2017 deadline is TBA.
